Bob Melhado sent me a message this week about the special 2013 BMW M3 Lime Rock Edition car. This was a model that I was not aware of. These are very distinctive cars.

The 2013 BMW M3 Lime Rock Edition will have a 6-speed manual transmission and a V8 engine that produces 414 horsepower at an engine speed of 8,300 RPM. This will get the Lime Rock Edition to go from 0 – 60 time in only 4.5 seconds.
The Lime Rock Edition Has Some Impressive Visual Styling
The BMW M3 Lime Rock Edition has a Fire Orange exterior, carbon fiber body kit, and 19-inch ZCP Competition Package.
Only 200 BMW M3 Lime Rock Edition Cars Will Be Built
The BMW M3 Lime Rock Edition will also have a decal on the window as well.
The Cars Will Have a Special Decal As Well
The car was introduced at the Lime Rock race track by veteran BMW racer Bill Auberlen and Skip Barber of driving school fame and owner of the Lime Rock track.

These cars went on sale last fall and have a selling price in the $71,000 range.
