Accepted North American Entries Into The 2017 Mille Miglia

The organizers of the 2017 Mille Miglia have announced the list of accepted cars for the 2017 Mille Miglia rally.  This is one of the most prestigious rallies in the world and it is very difficult to have an entry accepted.  Just getting accepted is quite an accomplishment.

Among the cars that were accepted this year were a number of North American entries, mostly American.   In some cases North Americans have teamed with people from other parts of the world.  The following is a list of accepted North American participants in the 2017 Mille Miglia.

My wife Chris and I are going, along with friends Jim and Diane Martin. We will be in Brescia the morning of May 18, then head to Desenzano del Garda to see the cars pass through. We are also planning on seeing the cars pass through Mantova on May 21, the final leg back to Brescia. Mantova is the home of Tazio Nuvolari, and will check out the re-opened TN Museo there. Looking forward to it!

    • Hi Joe,
That sounds like a great trip! Doing the trip to the Tazio Nuvolari museum is the icing on the cake. I’m always looking for reports and pictures from trips like that to post on my website. Have fun (I know that you will)!

        Hi Steve,
The four of us went for the Mille Miglia in 2010, and had such a great time. We’ve talked about it so much, we decided to do it again. I think we have a pretty good “game plan” to get the most out of our trip. And we’ll be there long enough to enjoy some of the other wonderful things Italy has to offer. I would be happy to send you photos with brief comment while we are there. Let me know the best way to do that.
        ciao, Joe K.

      • Hi Joe,
