Check Out The Bromyard Speed Festival On April 2, 2017

After this year’s Rallye Monte Carlo Historique I had the rather unique opportunity to spend some time on a yacht in the Monaco harbour.  Dan Allven, who drove the Volvo that we competed with in the rally had just recently purchased a 130-foot long wooden yacht which was tied up in harbour.  This boat which was built in 1930, is just like a piece of furniture.  It is lovely boat!  Spectacular really.

Joining us for breakfast, the day after we finished the rally was Jeremy Holden, the owner of Holden Vintage & Classic.  Holden Vintage & Classic is a supplier of all things related to classic and vintage cars in Bromyard, England.

Jeremy is a great fellow and car enthusiast to the core.  To see the range of products that can be bought at Holden Vintage & Classic, check out their website by clicking on the link below.

For the most part, if you can’t get it at Holden’s then you just don’t need it.

Dan and I first met Jeremy during the 2016 Rallye Monte Carlo Historique in which Jeremy was also competing in a ex-works Rootes rally team Sunbeam Tiger.  This car is shown below at the 2016 Rallye Monte Carlo Historique.

This year Jeremy was staying relatively close to Monaco at the time of the rally so he came over to Monaco to watch Dan & I finish the rally in the middle of the night.  Jeremy is a great supporter of motor sports and he is a sponsor of rallying through his involvement with Rally Round, a purveyor of classic rallies.

One of the other events that Jeremy is heavily involved with is the Bromyard Speed Festival which going to be held on April 2, 2017 in Bromyard.  While we were on Dan’s yacht we thought that it would be fun to get a picture of the banner for the Bromyard Speed Festival on Dan’s yacht to show that interest in this speed festival extends all the way to Monaco.  The picture below shows one of the photos that we took.  That is me on the left side of the photo.

Don’t Miss the 2017 Bromyard Speed Festival

I understand that there will be some significant cars at the Bromyard Speed Festival, so be there if you can.  And say “Hi” to Jeremy for me.
