2014 World Rally Championship Final Standings

With the 2014 World Rally Championship season ending last weekend at the Rally GB, Sebestien Ogier has won his second World Rally Championship title in a row.  This past year Ogier, along with his co-driver, Julien Ingrassia won a total of 8 rallies in the 13 event 2014 WRC schedule.

Ogier finished comfortably ahead of runner-up Jari-Matti Latvala with a 49 point lead.  The complete final 2014 WRC driver standings are presented below.

With Ogier’s championship season, Volkswagen has also won the WRC Manufacturers Championship with their Volkswagen Polo.

I know that this qualifies as wishful thinking, but it would be great if there was an American or Canadian who was competing at the WRC level.  This would be a significant boost for rallying in this country.
