Some Photos From The Great South American Challenge

John Brigden of H&H Classic Rallies sent me some photos from the first couple of days of the Great South American Challenge rally.  As the rally left Rio it looks like both the weather and the roads were very enjoyable.  The cars that take part in this rally must be 1973 or older models.  As you can see from the photos below, so of the cars are quite old.  One of the entrants in the Great South American Challenge is driving a 1907 Itala!

There are several American teams who are competing in the Great South American Challenge.  I hope to keep up-to-date with them and other teams in this rally during its six-week path through the southern portion of South America.
