Darryl Deagle Passes

It is sad to report that Darryl Deagle passed away this past weekend.  Darryl died as a result of a skydiving accident near Moncton, New Brunswick.  Darryl, 34, was an experienced skydiver with more than 300 jumps to his credit.  Darryl was also active and very well known in the sport motorcycle community.

Darryl was married and had a very young daughter.

I did not know Darryl Deagle except to see him at Targa Newfoundland where he always had a smile.  He competed at Targa Newfoundland many times as the co-driver in a black early 1990s Mustang driven by JD Turner.  I think that they had as much fun as anybody has ever had at Targa.  They always seemed to be enjoying themselves.  And they were entered again in this year’s upcoming Targa Newfoundland.
