On Sunday, May 29, I attended the 2011 British Iron Association of Massachusetts Spring Motorcycle Show at the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Oxford, MA. The weather started out a little cloudy, but around mid-morning the sun came out and it was hot.
There was a number of British bikes there along with a few other non-British bikes. It is good to see so much interest in the older British bikes and certainly the recent success of the Triumph line has helped spur interest as well.

There were a few Matchless motorcycles there that are somewhat uncommon in this area.

The following AJS competition bike is frequently seen at older motorcycle shows and each time that I see it, I think that it is the best bike in the show.
This AJS Bike is awesome!
I even took a couple of pictures of my own bike.

The custom Triumph chopper shown below is the classic chopper from those terrible biker movies from the 1960s.

In addition to the bikes that were on display, there were a number of vendors selling used bike parts, new clothing, and food. There also was a live band providing some great music. I did not stay too long as it was getting quite hot and I wanted to get home in time to see the Indianapolis 500. I look forward to a long riding season.
